Prelo
What you need
WordPress 7.0 or later, tested on 7.1. PHP 7.4 or later, tested on 8.3. WooCommerce 11 for the shop templates, tested on 11.2.1.
Install
- Go to Appearance > Themes > Add New > Upload Theme and choose the ZIP.
- Activate it. Your site uses the Prelo home page straight away.
- Go to Appearance > Editor to change templates, patterns, colours and fonts.
Styles
In the Styles panel of the Editor: Prelo (warm paper, serif), Almanaque (for long catalogues, smaller headings) and Cartaz (loud, condensed capitals, thick rules). Almanaque and Cartaz are in Prelo Plus only.
Replace these first
The Colophon footer column and the home page copy are instructions for you. Write who sells, your address and tax details, and your real delivery and returns terms. The theme does not decide what the law requires in your country.
Demo shop
A separate ZIP that comes with Prelo Plus. It recreates the fictional demo shop with WP-CLI on a new, empty site. All its images were drawn for it.
Support
Questions about theme features and bug fixes are included with Prelo Plus. Replies target two working days. Custom work is not included.
