What it does

Postal code format and region checks for European countries.
Tag and note on the order, with a suggested correction.
Islands and areas outside the EU VAT area pointed out.
Phone, house number, PO box and parcel locker checks.
Check any order from its page with More actions.

Each new order is checked as it arrives: postal code format for the country, postal code against region and city, missing house number, PO boxes and parcel lockers, missing or invalid phone numbers, fields typed in the wrong place and garbled characters. Orders that need a look get a tag and a note with a suggestion, and appear in a list in the app. Islands and areas outside the EU VAT area, such as the Canary Islands, Ceuta or Madeira, are pointed out.

How it works

The app never changes an address by itself: you edit the order, then check it again from the list or mark it as reviewed, and the tag and note are removed. The customer's own note is kept. Names, streets, postal codes and phone numbers are not stored by the app; it keeps the order number, the country and the type of problem for 60 days. The rules come from public postal and numbering sources and do not confirm that a street exists.

The optional email to you needs a sending service that we have not connected yet. The tag, the note and the list in the app work without it.

Which orders are checked?

Every new order with a shipping address, as it arrives. You can also check any order from its page with More actions.

Does the app change the address?

No. It adds a tag and a note with a suggestion. You edit the address and then check the order again.

Is the customer's note kept?

Yes. The app writes its own block in the note and only replaces or removes that block.
