What it does

  • Dates from your own fulfillment and delivery history
  • Ranges per country, region, island, carrier and shipping method
  • Cut-off time, preparation days and national holidays for 7 countries
  • Manual rules when there is not enough data, clearly flagged
  • Accuracy measured week by week: estimated against delivered

Caravel Delivery Promise shows «Get it between Thu 5 and Mon 9 Nov» on product and cart pages. Ranges come from your store's real deliveries, from fulfillment to delivery, per country, region, island, carrier and shipping method, with cut-off time, preparation days and holidays. Works with carrier tracking connected to Shopify, such as CTT, DPD, GLS, SEUR, Correos or DHL. Without enough data, your manual rules apply. Always labelled as an estimate.

How it works

Every day the app reads your fulfilled orders of the last 60 days and keeps only weekly totals per region, carrier and method: no customer data is stored. The theme block and app embed read pre-calculated values from an app metafield, so the storefront never calls our server. Visitors can enter a postcode for islands and regions. The Free plan covers one country with your manual rule; Unlimited adds every country and estimates from your history.

Frequently asked questions

Where do the dates come from?

From your fulfilled orders: the business days between fulfillment and the delivery reported by the carrier's tracking, per destination country, region, carrier and shipping method.

What happens with little data?

The app uses the manual rule you set for that country and says so in the admin. With few shipments the range is widened. Without data and without a rule, nothing is shown.

Is the date a commitment?

No. The storefront always labels it as an estimate and shows a range.

Which holidays are included?

National holidays of Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Belgium. You can add regional holidays, closure days and other countries.

Does it slow down my store?

No calls are made to our server from the storefront. The theme reads a pre-calculated app metafield and a small script shows the dates.

Is customer data stored?

No. Postcodes are reduced to their first two characters in memory and only weekly totals per region, carrier and method are kept.
