Status
Caravel Track is not yet published in the Shopify App Store: it has no public reviews yet. Features listed here are the ones in the app's code today. In our test store, the order timeline shows Shopify sending its own "out for delivery" and "delivered" emails when those events were written by a test script to shipments created with customer notification on; the full path from a live carrier status to that email has not yet run. Emails through your own account, delivery analytics and connecting your own carrier credentials have so far been tested only with simulated data, not in a live store.

Total cost on our side = plan + what your tracking service (17TRACK or TrackingMore, if you use one) and your email delivery service (Postmark, Resend or your own SMTP server, for the notifications that need one) charge you. We charge nothing per lookup; the official carrier APIs need your own credentials and are subject to each carrier's terms.
