Caravel Packing Slips
The apps are not published yet: this is the help that ships with them.
What you need
Nothing beyond the app. Documents open in your browser, ready to print or save as PDF.
Getting started
- Fill in your business details and choose the visible fields under Template.
- In Orders, select orders and choose Print packing slips under More actions, or open Caravel Packing Slips and select them there.
- Choose the document and the language: the customer’s language or a fixed one.
- In the new tab, print or save as PDF. Each order starts on a new page.
Good to know
These documents are not invoices and have no tax value. Issue invoices with your invoicing solution.
Bin locations come from a variant metafield you choose, for example custom.bin_location.
Documents are available in English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, German and Italian. Other customer languages use the fallback language from the template.
Customer names and addresses are read from your store only while a document is generated. The app does not keep them.
Frequently asked questions
Can I print many orders at once?
Yes. Select orders in the Orders list and choose the print action, or select them inside the app.
Which language is used on each document?
By default, the customer's language when it is one of the six supported; otherwise the fallback language you choose. You can also pick one language for the whole batch.
Does reprinting an order count again?
No. Each order counts once per calendar month.
Are these documents invoices?
No. They show your business details and state that they are not invoices. Use your invoicing solution for invoices.
